SKV is proud to announce the addition of the newest Partner, Samantha Jarvis, effective January 1, 2022.
Sam joined SKV as an Associate in 2015 and focuses her practice on complex commercial litigation and white-collar defense and investigations. As an SKV associate, she has represented defendants and plaintiffs in complex lawsuits, arbitrations, appeals, and criminal proceedings. Sam second-chaired two jury trials in Harris County and Montgomery County district courts that both resulted in multimillion dollar verdicts in favor of her clients. During a five-year Federal Corrupt Practices Act investigation, Sam represented a defendant in the Southern District of Texas at every stage, including handling the sentencing hearing. Sam has been chosen as a Rising Star by Thomson Reuters Super Lawyers from 2020 to present.

A native of the Rio Grande Valley, Sam received her B.A. in English, summa cum laude, from The University of Texas-Pan American in 2007 and her J.D. from The University of Texas School of Law in 2014, with honors and as a member of the Order of the Coif. After law school, she clerked for the Honorable Gregg Costa on the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit in Houston from 2014-2015.
